COVID-19 UPDATE
Young people are constantly searching for authenticity - opportunities to engage in ‘real talk’ and build real connection within both themselves and those around them
This instinct has been further heightened by the broad impact of Covid-19.
Immense anxieties and pressures are being felt by all within our communities with young people in particular being further compromised by a perceived helplessness.
Moving forward and past Covid-19 young people (school communities) are going to need to not only reconnect but strengthen relationships both externally and internally.
The use of genuine, relatable stories is an important tool when looking to creatively reminded young people (in particular) of the need to show patience and empathy to nurture re-connection. This approach ensures mental health and wellbeing are prioritiSed for all.
I can provide bespoke workshops for both students and staff that thoughtfully and creatively caters to this need.
Please do not hesitate to contact me directly on 0414 262626 to discuss how I can assist in ensuring your school community recovers holistically once schools are deemed appropriately operational.
